Kaspian Shore is a self-taught painter, born in 1983.
Most of the artist’s youth was spent in anguish and isolation, making
poetry and art one of the few ways to comfort him in his grief and to
communicate. Kaspian’s portraits of gentle, androgynous boys are
haunting us like washed-out memories of the ghosts of our pasts, hiding
the sadness of many untold stories behind their empty, questioning eyes.

The painting above, a portrait of Harry Potter character, Luna Lovegood is an exceptional example (a a rare female subject) of Kaspian’s work.

Manjari Sharma is a 32 year old photographer from Mumbai, India.  Her work is rooted in the study of relationships and personal mythology.  Recently her Shower Series has caught quite a bit of attention.  Inviting friends and strangers into her apartment, Manjari then shoots them in the most intimate setting - her bathroom.

"Many of my subjects shared intimate details of their life with me and every new person in the shower became a brand new allegory. With every new visit I had a new protagonist; A new plot and a new parable of hurt and heroic that came undone under that shower - My Shower. I felt a personal mythology was being shared, an independent study that I got addicted to."

Dan Mountford’s digital compositions are impeccable.  I find them to be so complex, which makes me jealous of his skill.  And I thought I was a Photoshop Jedi.  maybe I’m just lazy.

Carl Kleiner of Stockholm has quite a few tricks up his sleeve.  One look at his portfolio and you realize that there really isn’t anything he can’t shoot. Really well.  Hands down, the most diverse range of photos I have seen in a long time, Carl’s work is simply elegant.  I particularity love the organized baking ingredients, and his provocative work with food.

oh baby!
